Blooming Marvellous!
Pupil-planted bulbs blossom in the sunlight
Welcome back to all our Junior families for another jam-packed term of educational enjoyment. It was lovely to arrive at school to see all the bulbs that the pupils had planted with Mrs. Angel back in the Autumn Term bloom into the most striking collection. A necessary photo opportunity.
My latest termly Newsletter and Summer Term Events calendar are now available and have been put on the website for you to access as well as being sent out to you. I hope you will agree this term is going to be a busy one with so much going on. There is a Science week, Sports' afternoons and of course the Year 6 Leavers' events to enjoy, despite the obvious sadness at their leaving primary education.
The Years 3 & 4 footballers enjoyed a fixture against Filby Primary school today and it is so good to see schools being able to compete against each other safely once again. We have a lot of other age group fixtures coming up this term, so please feel free to cheer teams along from the touchlines. I am full of pride for any pupil who does their best when representing the school against another.
I hope you all have a restful weekend and the sunshine endures refreshing us for the first full week on Monday.
Stay safe.
