Pudsey Returns!

Anti-Bullying Week ended with Children in Need!

Another busy week has flown by and I was mightily impressed by the children's and staff's efforts to celebrate Anti-Bullying Week and Children in Need by donning odd socks and by coming to school wearing a variety of Pudsey-esque costumes. For the latter, the school raised almost £100, so we thank you all for your generosity for such a worthy cause.

Due to illness absence, we have had to shuffle staff about this week, but I just wanted to take a moment to praise the wonderful team who work with your children every single day, because they always rally together when faced with a challenge, supporting each other and going above and beyond for every single child. I could not be prouder of such a fantastic team of people. Our families really are lucky at our Ormesby schools!

Well done to the Years 5 & 6 Boys' football team who took part in the tournament against other schools at Flegg High Academy on Friday. Every player did extremely well against some tough opposition making the Federation extremely proud of their achievements.

Next week on Monday, we have the Year 4 trip to Norwich Castle and on Tuesday and Friday after-school the Years 5 & 6 Boys' and Girls' Football teams are both away respectively against North Denes. Those selected should have been given a letter.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
