Christmas Festivities Arrive!

Christmas Festivities begin in earnest!

Busy, busy, busy! This week has flown by and there just does not seem to be a spare minute in the day to catch one's breath, but I have really enjoyed seeing the children engage with the Christingle service in assembly with Reverend Jo this week. The children showed a strong understanding of the significance of the Christingle and sang beautifully when the moment was right. Thank you Reverend Jo for coming in and for all the Christingles for the children to take home.

I have really enjoyed seeing the Junior children engage so well with their writing activities this week. Ofsted had held up my planned learning walk with their visit last week, but I managed to get around to all classes to see what was going on. The sentence stacking approach really enables all abilities of writers to access the writing curriculum and the children produce some lovely pieces of work. Well done everyone!

Thank you for all the colourful donations for our PTFA Christmas raffle taking place in two weeks. All items were gratefully received by the PTFA.

Next week, we hope to see parents again for our Junior Curriculum Celebration event on Tuesday from 2:30pm, on Thursday we also have our Vision and Hearing checks for our Year 6 class and on Friday we have our Family Carol Service at St. Margaret's Church from 6:00pm on Friday. Selected readers will be notified next week and they will perform alongside the Junior choir.

Have a great weekend everyone!
