Uplifting Singing!
Harvest Festival in Church raised the roof!
With parent-teacher meetings taking place over the week, I hope that everyone has been able to discuss their children with school staff and these parents have received constructive feedback about how to support their children moving forward. If there is anyone who has not had an appointment, please speak to staff about arranging one.
Both schools walked to the Church together on Thursday for our Harvest Festival celebrations and I was thrilled with the behaviour, not to mention the respectful manner children displayed on the journey and when inside the Church. Whilst there, the singing was also fantastic and our pupils were even playing guitars and dancing. Thank you to Rev. Jo, Mrs. White-Joubert and all parent helpers.
Friday saw our PTFA send the children off to their half-term with the opportunity to purchase a tasty doughnut. A lovely sugary treat to welcome in the holiday break.
As I told the children, please make sure you all have a safe holiday, especially if there are any Halloween bonfire/firework gatherings being attended.
When we return, we will look forward to the Year 6 trip to Duxford on Monday 4th, the Bure Park Cross Country on Wednesday 6th, not to mention our Remembrance commemorations on Friday 8th around the village memorial as well as a Years 5&6 Girls' tournament.
Have a great break and we shall all see you on Monday 4th November.
