Egg-travaganza!

Easter Egg Donations help load the Raffle!

It has been another jam-packed week for the children and the sun has tried its hardest to come out and put in an appearance. However, it is deceptively chilly and ended up raining.

On Tuesday, the children got to showcase all their learning since the beginning of the Spring Term when their parents visited as part of the Curriculum Celebration Event. The children do enjoy going through their books avidly rummaging to an exciting part which they want to share because they have been thoroughly engaged with it. Thank you to all families who could make it on this occasion.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Years 5 and 6 boys' football team played a strong Woodlands outfit and performed superbly to come away with a victory and advance into the semi-finals of the cup competition. I cannot fault the desire and passion all the squad showed on the day to come away with a positive result. The team have another fixture on Friday against Caister alongside the Years 5 and 6 girls' football team, who are playing the same school on their second pitch. We are again hoping for two positive results.

The children got to enjoy another virtual competition courtesy of Premier Sports. This time it was in Lacrosse, which was quite energetic. The pupils enjoyed themselves again and we hope our results can be just as positive as the Archery ones were against the other schools participating when all data is collated. Thank you Premier Sports.

I just wanted to say another big thank you for all the Easter Egg donations towards our raffle next Friday. All monies will go towards the PTFA funds for further improvements. They have supported the school a great deal recently and we are grateful for this.

Next week, we have the remainder of our parent-teacher meetings, two more football fixtures to finish the league seasons off and our Easter Egg Competition with Raffle. We can also look forward to the Easter assembly by Reverend Jo.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
