A Win for Orm!
Orm, the Viking Scarecrow, wins Visitors' Favourite at Martham Scarecrow Festival
On Monday we discovered that Orm, our scarecrow had won a prize at the scarecrow festival and with it, £25!! There is currently a lot of discussion about what we should do with our winnings... any ideas welcome!
Year 6 have been enjoying their SATs breakfasts this week- there has been masses of food and a lovely atmosphere in the hall before taking the tests later in the mornings. A big thank you to everyone who has helped with these.
On Tuesday afternoon, our art lesson this week was to try some Hapa-Zome printing using natural pigment in flora and fauna. The children produced some fantastic prints and it was lovely to see them sharing which plants worked well for the technique and which were not as effective. I have uploaded some photos to Class Dojo for you. Some detailed pastels work has also been produced this term for art based on Plants and Flowers.
