County Stage of Cross Country

We enjoyed glorious sunshine at Langley School today, where eleven children were taking part in the Norfolk School Games County Cross Country Finals. The fields in each event were large and the course challenging with hills and bends. The children showed great spirit in taking part and competing positively even when things were hard. Thanks to all the parents and family members who came to support the team and to Mrs. Cleevely, who helped look after the children between races. We had some fantastic personal best finishes, including a seventh place in the Year 3 girls' race. Everyone behaved impeccably and supported each other well. Come on Ormesby!
