School Partnerships
Our Infant and Junior Federation of schools works closely together to ensure there is consistency for all stakeholders. Our schools work together with the local church, St. Margaret's, and Rev. Jo. Wood to organise various seasonal events across the year, such as Harvest Festival, Christingle and Easter.
Furthermore, our Federation works within the Broader Horizons group of cluster schools from the Eastern area of Norfolk. This enables staff to work on projects in collaboration with other staff from nearby schools. Training and best practice is shared, inter-school competitions are arranged and external validation is undertaken.
The school also works with East Norfolk Sixth Form College to benefit from the specialist expertise of their staff and facilities. We have strong professional support from the Local Authority and from Viscount Nelson Education Trust (VNET).
Our Infant school admits many pupils from the feeder setting of Ormesby Village Pre-School and endeavours to ensure the transition between the two establishments is as smooth and as reassuring as possible for the pupils and parents. There are regular transition meetings about children, training is shared and both settings work hard to provide the strongest educational beginnings possible for the youngest of children.
